Renee Russo M.A., LPC
“When working with clients, I believe that it is important to create a safe, non-judgmental environment to have a collaborative experience between myself and a client. I strive to make counseling a process that is therapeutic, empowering, and educational. I believe that the client is the focus of therapy and will tailor interventions to match an individual’s needs.
I have clinical experience providing individual, couples, and family counseling to children, adolescents, and adults. Specializing in working with individuals who have experienced trauma during their lives. Also, working with client’s struggling with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and family conflict.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). My Masters Degree is in clinical mental health counseling from Western Michigan University. I am trained and certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Previously I have worked as a home based therapist through Family & Children Services for three years. Outside of counseling, I enjoy reading, watching sports, and spending time with my family..”
