Robert Chapuran, LPC

"Life is filled with challenges and stressors that can sometimes feel too much for one person to handle. Reaching out and asking for a helping hand is not a sign of weakness but instead a sign of courage. We will create a safe and non-judgmental atmosphere for our therapeutic sessions and will strive to find individual strengths and talents to successfully overcome obstacles.
I have clinical experience counseling adults struggling with depression, anxiety, substance use, trauma, communication issues, divorce, suicidal and homicidal ideation; in addition, to clients with parole/probation monitoring and incarceration history. I also have experience working with mandated clients that are involved with various court jurisdictions.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC). My Master’s Degree is in Counseling from Spring Arbor University. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Human Trafficking, Solution Focused Therapy, and Suicide/crisis interventions. Outside of counseling, I enjoy watching sports, spending time with family, spending time at the lake, and skiing."
